Life Imprisonment

A Dark cell is where I reside,
Devoid of fresh air and light.
No one to talk to, share my plight.
But my conscience knows that it’s right.

Coz I am an uncontrollable fire,
With unfathomable desire.
A bird, which does not deserve to fly.
Passion which deserves to die.

And then I say
It’s better to live behind the bars.
Devoid of Money, Fame and power.
No addiction to tease and hypnotize.
Away from pleasure, pain and cries.

The devil in me here is dead asleep.
Solitude in loneliness is what I seek.
And as I revisit memories lost in my brain.
I pray to God, never to give birth again.

Ajmal Kasab

I plead guilty for what I did.
Taking lives of mothers and Kids.
Fine that you don’t want my story.
Coz what I did was barbaric and Gory.

     Be thankful,
You were not a poverty struck child.
Sweating hard, living in the wild.
Grown up with murderers and thieves.
Brought up in falsified beliefs.

And as the Fire falls from the sky.
Hitting me naked while I cry.
But the pain within me kills me more.
Tainted conscience searching for cure.
